Meet the Owner
Hi! I'm Catherine. Soon after my first child was born, I visited my parents for a weekend. I wanted to make some outfits for my daughter and so I asked my mother to get out her old sewing machine and re-teach me the basics. She was kind enough to do so, and I've been sewing non-stop ever since!
My Story
I'm a born and raised Midwest girl (and a Cardinal's fan, duh). I grew up in Columbia and moved to KC as an adult. I am a teacher by trade and have taught every grade Kindergarten through sixth, in both general and special education classrooms. I currently work in the social services field, providing parent education and family preservation services. I enjoy working out, fly fishing, time in the mountains, and of course sewing!
